LeBow College of Business faculty and administration provides the support and resources to ensure student ideas become reality.
Following two terms of research with the support of Professor Julia LaRosa, we concluded that, in addition to improved academic performance, university retention increases when students are empowered to incorporate academics and social activities in formal and informal environments.
To foster student satisfaction, retention, and motivation, we developed LeBow Spirit Week — an engagement initiative that was brought to life in October. The weeklong event targeted both undergraduate and graduate students and included student club expos, professional development networking receptions and LinkedIn headshot opportunities, philanthropic competitions, social “carnival day” activities, a yoga “flash mob” with Dean Linnehan, and a third anniversary party for Gerri C. LeBow Hall.
